Restaurant Hotel Hey

We stayed for a couple of nights and loved this hotel. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach but in a quiet area. Peñíscola Castle is a half-hour walk away. All rooms have sea views. The restaurant has a wide variety on its menu. We will definitely return. Be careful with parking; it's a blue zone.

I find it funny that people post a negative review after going back so many times and don't mention the positive ones that made you come back. But, in short, there are people who seem to want to ruin businesses. For me, I mentioned the negative things at the bar, and the positive things were the service and the very good food. Food was a bit fair for the price, but I understand I'm in Peñíscola and it's peak season. I'm sure we'll see each other more often.

I had breakfast alone (toast with olive oil and ham. Delicious!) and then four people ate together. Everything was great, the food was €19 per person!

A must-visit every time we go to Peñíscola. They have spectacular cuisine, where I would highlight the rice dishes. There are also options for children who may prefer more basic culinary options. The service is very attentive and friendly. I recommend booking on the terrace, where you have views of the promenade and the beach, and they also have a pool that you can use. Perfect for a vermouth or a meal after dinner. We will return.

We stayed at the hotel and had breakfast and lunch there today. The black rice was incredible, and the waiters and waitresses may not have the most experience because they're so young, but they're enthusiastic, friendly, and attentive.

Hey Hotel Restaurant. Very varied menu with typical dishes from the area, paellas, good menu and Americanadas. The whole grilled squid stands out for being large and well presented. Open from breakfast. It has a terrace with sea views and a swimming pool with massage. Highly recommended.

We were surprised by the hotel's unique, colorful style. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly. We loved lunch.

Large, clean room... the hotel is located right on the beach. The manager who served us, if I'm not mistaken, (Antonio), was a very professional and friendly person. Thank you, we'll be back!

Hotel in a good location, pleasant, quiet, and beautiful. The hotel welcome was excellent, warm and friendly, with good, helpful advice. The staff in my room were very kind. We'll definitely be back for them and the location. On the other hand, the restaurant was average and the food was mediocre. The welcome was not warm, and especially the Belgian waitress needs to change jobs. She was not at all friendly, even unpleasant, and bossy towards the staff. A restaurant to avoid.

I was pleasantly surprised by the place! I had lunch two days and dinner two nights. It caught my attention because a third of a beer was 2 euros. That's unusual these days in such a touristy place. A recommended and pleasant restaurant! Good quality food. Good prices for a beachside location. It's very pleasant both on the terrace and inside. The staff is very friendly and service is quick. The 20 and 25 euro menus are worth trying. I was eager to check out the hotel because it seems very nice! When I return to Peñiscola, I will definitely come back!

100% recommend ordering the octopus without hesitation, along with the mussels. Unbeatable value for money. The waiter, Sebastián, is friendly and fun. A 10 as a person. As I said, come try it and you'll come back.

An excellent spot on Peñíscola beach. Excellent service and excellent preparation and presentation of the food on their seaside terrace. Steamed mussels as a starter, followed by lobster rice. A ten-star experience.
